| so here is my old bass rig
well part of it. the amp head is not on there. anyways, i'm selling this good ol' workhorse. the amp head SWR Workingman's 4004 that pumps out 260 watts @ 8 ohms and 400 watts @ 4 ohms. the 2x10 cab (the speaker cab on the top is the SWR workingman's 2x10T. it handles 200 watts @ 8 ohms. the 1x15 cab (the speaker on the bottom underneath the 2x10T) is the SWR workingman's 1x15T. it handles 200 wats @ 8 ohms.
I would like to sell them alltogether for 700 or best offer. if seperate then 250 for each cab and 300 for the head or best offer.
The 2x10T hasn't been used much. it was sitting in my house for almost 3 years. the carpet is great with no fuzzies. one corner cap is broken. the 1x15T cab has been used a lot. there is some fuzzies and some wear around the end caps. the speaker driver is still good. the amp head has been used alot and hasn't failed me yet. no fuses have not blown on me. still the original fuses. there are fuzzies and the handle broke off. now for some reason SWR has a distinct sound that comes out of all their equipment. its an annying hiss for some people but ok for the rest of the people dont care. if you turn off the tweeters on the cab it goes away.
so you thats it for that. my new upgrade bass rig is this cab right here.
isn't she a beauty. and its a whole lot loud than my old rig. it puts the thump in your chest. and blows you pants off ya if you stand too close. i also got another cab but no picture yet.
| what is up with not posting for a long time thing? last post was what? 5 months or so ago. geez.... anyways, i got promoted at work on my birthday which was weird. but it turned out good. i dont have to drive to the valley anymore. even though i still like driving the new position has a lot more challenging obstacles. instead of sitting in traffic i sit (actually standing or walking since im always moving around the warehouse) in the warehouse. instead of crazy drivers cutting me off or speeding sports cars zooming past by me i answer customer/dealership calls who wants a part or many parts and get mad if we dont stock it or have it in stock. instead of out in the beating sun or drenching rain im under the nice roof or the warehouse where i can stay away from the elements of nature. i get another raise since the last one which was 3 months ago. so more money but more problems... hahahaha....
so thats it for now.... | | |

| Anybody seen a stretch out corvette on the road yet? Well I've seen one but it wasnt on the road, it was at a dealership in Covina. I saw a Corvette rear and front stretched out to be a Limousine. Pretty funky looking. Some limo service in gold writing was on the windows. The tires didnt look the same as it would on a regular corvette but it looked pretty funky looking to me.
Two weekends ago I went out to the shooting range with my old friend. We havent hanged out in months. It was his first time to a long-range shooting range so he was a little scared at first. Of course i had to bring my big guns... the 1942 91/30 ex-sniper and the 1943 91/30 Mosin Nagants. The '42 exsniper i scoped and put a synthetic stock on it to look more modern. My friend helped me sight it in at 200yards. We were breaking clay birds at 200yards. It was pretty accurate. My friend liked the '43 since it was easier to hold but since these are WWII guns the buttplate is metal so he was complaining about the buttplate being metal and hurting his shoulder. He asked if i could change it but i replied " That'll take the joyment out shooting the rifle in its combat state." anyways, for cheap guns that range from 80 to 100 bucks and surplus ammo that you can buy at 40 bucks for 440 rounds surplus you cant go wrong with having so much fun with less amount of spending. oh yea my friend's cousin came and when he shoots my mosins he would keep the spent shells so he can take it home as like a souviner. But whats even more funny is that the cousin might of took about 20 to 30 spent shells home.... hahahaha...
| after about 4 weeks of having a bike and going out on the trail for like 4 times i start falling off my bike like theres no tomorrow now. i've crashed 4 times in the past 3 weeks and its sad. the first one was the one i told you about in the last entry the second fall was trying to jump over tree roots which i was unsuccesful on the second root.. should of gone right instead of left... the thrid i fell off when going downhil at a really fast speed and hitting a drop thats about 2 feet high at a fast speed was a no no. the fourth is even more sad cause i was biking to work at 0520am in the dark ( yes for those of you who dont know whats it like at 0520 in the morning its dark) it was dark enough to not be able to make out the conditions of the road. so goin over railroad track in the dark is a no no especially going about 12mph. i was about 5 minutes away from work when i fell... sad very sad. if i were to sum up my scrapes and bruises here it is:
left arm: 2 major scrapes, small scrapes up the arm. right arm: 2 major scrapes, 1 cut pretty deep but not life threatening left leg: big bruise thats a size of a orange... affecting me when i walk... bummer... right leg: 3 good size cuts thats deep enough to bleed a lot but not life threatening, a scrape on the knee chest: if you are wondering why my chest its because of the third fall, this when i BENT my seatpost... i got a major bruise that hurts when i lift things but its a lot better now. no pain.
i must say that im ok now just trying to recover from the fourth fall. im glad that my fingers are ok from all of this. i can still groove on my bass. YEAH!!!!!
